Yes, I also agree with you, this is a greater challenge for the community
and multi stakeholder process with the way people are being managed and
worked.

You have rightly said   NomCom needs to do more outreach or at least let us
know so that we encourage people to apply. Every year the argument is that
they didn’t have enough applicants. I strongly see when no effort is being
done there will be no candidates.

ICANN community leadership roles at basic level are being managed for votes
and a syndicate is being run to nominate people in turn wise manner.

Sad thing, it's all done in the name of community and people  where they
are not letting the  new people join and engage.

I believe the ICANN community has to be open and transparent from RALO to
NOMCOM. Community is where we learn from each other not hide and manage our
votes.
