Ok so you’re not objecting to the public IG session being listed as a High Interest Topic but rather to having a public IG session at all, on the grounds that it’s a distraction from the public working group meeting that’s always held in parallel.

Maybe one way to get past the push back from those who are saying they want one is to have staff (Nigel and Tarek) organize it like they used to, on a one time basis...

That certainly should be the priority, the problem has always been the structural barrier, as discussed previously.  Hope it works.
