Dear Andrea,

I hope you’re doing well.

I am writing to express my strong interest in joining the team dedicated to improving NCUC’s media and communication efforts.

I am based in Islamabad, Pakistan, and an ICANN78 alumna as well as an ICANN82 and ICANN83 fellow. Due to extensive ICANN correspondence, I missed your email earlier, but I am highly interested in this role and would truly appreciate your consideration.

I hold an MS degree in Media Studies from Bahria University, Islamabad—one of Pakistan’s top institutions. Currently, I serve as a Publications Officer at its head office, where I manage content creation for social media, marketing materials, and events. I also serve as the Chief Editor of the university’s official annual magazines. Previously, I worked as a Sub-Editor at The Express Tribune, a leading English newspaper in Pakistan and a partner of The New York Times. Additionally, I have collaborated with various national and international PR and marketing firms, gaining extensive experience in social media management.

I am really looking forward to contribute to enhancing NCUC’s outreach, engagement, and visibility within ICANN and beyond. My expertise in managing social media campaigns, developing communication plans, and collaborating with media partners aligns well with the team’s objectives.

I would love the opportunity to collaborate with other passionate members to strengthen NCUC’s communication strategy. I understand that I may have missed the deadline, but I would truly appreciate your consideration for this role. If there is still an opportunity to contribute, please let me know the next steps.
