Dear Andrea,

I hope you are doing well.

I saw your email on the NCUC list calling for volunteers for the media and comms team as a member from APAC. I want to put my name forward for joining this group. A little about myself -

I am Yug Desai, PhD candidate at South Asian University, New Delhi. My research area is Internet Governance. I am also associated with Youth IGF India where I lead our fellowship program and I am also working on Asia-Pacific Internet Governance Academy's Indian edition. I attended ICANN 81 in Istanbul as a NextGen participant. I am fairly new to NCUC and the ICANN ecosystem. But I believe the media and communication team is a great starting point to get actively involved and begin contributing to the NCUC.

I am happy to provide any additional information that you may require.

Could you please share a little about the selection process, tentative workflow of such small teams and typical time commitment that would be expected.
