Dear Pedro,
Thank you for your suggestions. Sara and I will share them with the Media
And Communication committee during the upcoming meeting.
However, we would like to clarify a few key points to ensure there is no
misunderstanding:
*- Scope of the Strategy*: This strategy focuses on the Media and
Communication of NCUC. *It is different from the internal mechanisms* or
workflows *within the committee*. In the Strategy we’ve outlined the roles
and team structure but the mechanisms will be as:
- Platforms Manager: The *NCUC Chair* will act as the Platforms Manager,
responsible for approving all content before it goes online or is posted.
- Content Creators: will be responsible for developing posts, subjects,
and images to be shared across platforms. While *the materials will
remain the same across platforms*, each platform has different size
requirements (e.g., Facebook and LinkedIn allow larger posts compared to
other platforms).
- Analytics & Reporting: *Committee members* are responsible for
analyzing *the performance of the platforms and website*. This includes
tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Community Manager: will focus on discovering and implementing
solutions to *grow and develop the NCUC community*.
*Note:* The committee members will work collaboratively to ensure the
success of each role.
- *Platform Assignments ( as mentioned names in the table*): The division
of responsibilities for each platform was determined through a call for
volunteers inside the committee. Each pair of members assigned to a
platform is responsible for *monitoring posts, comments, and taking
immediate action if content violates NCUC’s ethics.( for only the platform,
they are responsible).* Additionally, their role includes *inviting and
recruiting people to join the platform*.
- *Timeline:* As outlined in the strategy, at the next steps paragraph, we
expect all platforms to be up and running during *September.* This will be
followed by the formalization of the process ( the mechanism) into a manual
for future production.
- *Website Update: *Sara, the committee members, and I have completed the
necessary steps for the website to begin the final formation. We're
currently awaiting the Hosting transfer to finalize technical details
(e.g., tools, costs in needed for these tools, etc.). The committee had
previously established the website framework during our *April 25th* *2025*
meeting, and we shared at that time the meeting notes with the EC and
community for feedback. In *May 2025*, we organized two special meetings to
develop the *website index*, which took place on the *10th and 15th*. At
the *NCUC* *EC* meeting two months ago,* we agreed on the website transfer*,
and we are now waiting for the Hosting transfer, which is *beyond our
control and responsibility ( Me and Sara)*. As a side note, Tapani is ready
to back up the website once the transfer is ready.
Best regards,
Amin and Sara
