[NCUC-EC] Concerns Regarding NCUC Decision-Making and Session Legitimacy

Dear Amin,
Thank you for sharing your concerns, Amin. However, the language you've
used in English seems quite strong. I understand the multilingual nature of
ICANN MH, and I would appreciate it if you could kindly take a moment to
carefully listen to your choice of words.

Our guiding principle is the bylaws, and to the best of my knowledge, I
have always acted in full accordance with them. Here’s what the bylaws say
regarding meetings:

The Chair is elected by the NCUC membership and is responsible for the
overall administration of the Constituency. Specific duties include:
1. Overseeing the establishment and management of the email lists required
by the Bylaws;
2. Arranging meetings and their facilities;
3. Establishing and managing the Constituency website;

I requested your support in creating a meeting agenda, but you declined. At
no point have I violated the bylaws; I have simply adhered to a
collaborative process and fulfilled my mandate as the chair NCUC.

During my outreach to local communities in Istanbul, I was frequently asked
about meeting agendas. In response, I drafted one as part of my effort to
secure a speaker. Given that the agenda was merely a draft and subject to
review, how is this an issue? At best you could have made an input to the
draft agenda.

I believe it's important to be careful with our choice of words. It's
particularly concerning when a concern is raised without offering a clear
alternative. I am committed to fairness and consensus-building, and when
consensus isn't possible, compromise is necessary for us to make progress.

On that note, I’m unclear about what you mean when you say I have caused
confusion that led to the mistakes mentioned earlier. Could you please
clarify this and explain what you’re trying to convey and what you intend
to achieve?

Kind regards,
Benjamin
