Hello all, once again the Public Responsibility Support Department will be
hosting the ICANN Community Groups: An Introduction for Newcomers Session
during prep week at ICANN71.  This session will be taking place on
Wednesday 2 June from 13:00-14:30 UTC.



We would like to invite your community group to designate a representative
by Wednesday, 26 May to attend this session and do a brief presentation
about your respective community. Please be advised that because of the time
constraints, this will be a rapid-fire information session and therefore
your remarks should not exceed 5 minutes. This session will be focused on
the Newcomer and will be followed by a brief question and answer period. I
will provide a standard slide, but you are welcome to send 1-2 slides if
you wish (*Please submit your slide to Deborah Escalera no later than
Monday 31 May).* I will share the deck once it is finalized. We know not
every community group will be available to participate, however, we will
distribute a schedule of suggested meetings/sessions throughout ICANN70 and
encourage newcomers to attend them to learn more about the ICANN community.
