[NCUC-EC] Request for funding for Stefan Filipovic to go to Morocco

Hi Michael

Thanks for responding. I think he has tried and asked his university for
funds but they don't have it. I asked him for a statement of interest and a
cost estimate.
Amr is getting the travel support which EPDP budget provides but he is also
facing some visa issues which I hope he overcomes and can make it.
All other members are also going to be there . (Stephanie, Milton, Ayden,
Amr, Julf)

I believe David and Tatiana both among the alternates will be in Marrakech
( correct me if I'm wrong David) but I thought it would be good to have
Stefan there fully to just focus on EPDP (and of course attend other
meetings too) in case other alternates have conflicts. Unfortunately EPDP
is closed which means others  cannot fill in if not an alternate or a
member.

So while there is no pressure, I thought it would be beneficial for him and
NCUC. So up to EC to decide whether his participation and such urgent
approval of request is good for NCUC . I thought I'd ask :)
