Dear Community Leaders:



The Complaints Office has been in operation for over one-year now. In
that time, we’ve had a number of successes that have resulted in the
ICANN org making impactful changes, which I would like to share with
you. ICANN63 in Barcelona presents a great opportunity for me to come
talk to your groups to share statistical results, identified trends,
and concrete examples of where the org has made improvements. This
would also be a good time to talk to me about issues your groups may
be experiencing and to discuss possible paths for resolution.



I know that SO/AC schedules are often limited during ICANN meetings,
but I believe this information would be interesting to your groups. If
you’re interested, I’d be happy to come discuss at a date and time
that is convenient for you. For those who have a scheduling slot to
discuss Complaints Office results, please email me at
krista.papac at icann.org so we can coordinate scheduling. If your group
does not have an open scheduling slot during ICANN63, I’m also
available to schedule a webinar after the meeting.



Lastly, I wanted to make you and your stakeholders aware that I will
have office hours during ICANN63. These are available for anyone
interested in a one-on-one meeting. These one-on-one meetings with the
Complaints Officer are often not used to “submit a complaint,” but
instead used to discuss an issue someone is having and for me to
provide them with options and guidance as to how they may want to
address it. Anyone interested in setting up a meeting with me can
email complaints at icann.org, and I will work with them to get something
scheduled.



I look forward to seeing those of you attending ICANN63 in the coming weeks.
