Dear all,

I would like to support Antonella Perini and Renato Leite's candidacies.

I agree with the reasons listed by Louise and, in light of our idea of
linking the buddy mentor program and the selection of NCUC's mentees,
Antonella would be the perfect fit as she is part of the first program and
bringing her to Panama would allow us to better develop what we think the
NCUC career - engaging member with the constituency at a newcomer level and
then building capacity for PDP participation. Antonella's engagement in the
LAC region is worth noting as well, she works for Assuntos del Sur, a well
known think-tank in the region and was an ICANN fellow in ICANN58, apart
from being a member ever since.

My support also goes for Renato Leite, despite the fact that Renato is not
yet engaged with any PDP, I believe that with his expertise and proper
mentorship he could become a great asset for NCUC in all privacy
discussions. The candidate is a lawyer in brazil and his works include
consultancy for organization in GDPR compliance matters apart from being
one of the main privacy academics/activists in the country. Apart from
that, with the help of GSE Brazil, he is starting a study group on ICANN at
Mackenzie University in São Paulo with the purpose of building capacity
within the University students on internet governance and domain names.

If we consider that Renato is too much of a newcomer, I would like to
secondarily vote for Benjamin Akinmoyeje based on his engagement with both
the RPMs and RDS WGs and his plan of action past the Panamá meeting.

Best,
Bruna Santos
