[NCUC-EC] NCUC mentees for ICANN62 - Deliberate until 26Apr

Hi folks,

Really appreciate the number of applications until now. Have reviewed all
of them, however, despite their excellent curricula, I'd also support a
two-day deadline extension.
At least, at this stage, we could give it a last try to call in more
applicants and make the selection more competitive and gender-balanced. And
I would also like to see more people that are engaging in PDPs and/or
comments.

Agree with Ines point - especially with regards to ensuring all applicants
are eligible before sending their answers:
*Second, I would suggest that, for next rounds when we issue a call for
applications, we also add a short section on "eligibility criteria to apply
for the fellowship" instead of the link as it seems some applicants did not
consult our travel policy, https://www.ncuc.org/get-involved/travel-policy/
<https://www.ncuc.org/get-involved/travel-policy/>*

Cheers,
