@RaffikI have tried to open the zip file (started with the last file named Renata) and twice it has frozen my laptop. So I will not bother to open it just incase it is trouble. I have however gone through Milton's and Farzaneh and will only comment on the Africa applications.
I am not sure that both Benjamin and Remmy have applied to hold an outreach session at the Africa summit cause it would be somewhat unrealistic to fund them and expect them to just say contribute from the floor on what NCUC does. Probably a confirmation that there will be such a session would have been convincing.
For Songitu's open gov meeting..I highly doubt that there would be an opportunity for outreach in this one. And so I will go for APC. And I assume that we will be funding APC as an organisation to do an NCUC session. It is much easier for an organisation in such meetings to hold a session that will draw interested persons or curious people and bound to have more results. However, like Milton says, this needs to be very clear.

PS. I have no more NCUC emails to respond to. So I assume this is all I missed. But please like Tapani advised, kindly copy my email address into further communication. Thanks.

Hi everyone,
this is a reminder about sending your selection and making decision. please have in mind that selecting is just one step, the process includes some other admin and time consuming tasks like filling the form in wiki and also get approval from each regional VP and coordinating with them.
The deadline is supposedly 6 weeks before the event/conf and for some cases it is becoming late. only support from regional VP would speed up the process.I am getting also several inquiries from applicants asking about the status of their proposals.
so please send your decision by Tuesday, no more delay allowed, so we can decide for final slate in Wednesday.

Best,
Rafik

hi everyone,
I am resending the attached proposals (2 attachments) and also reminder about reviewing the proposals. I am also cced your email address since there was some glitches for some EC members (many bounced email).
please share your selection by monday. Milton (http://lists.ncuc.org/pipermail/ncuc-ec/2016-April/002661.html) and Farzaneh (http://lists.ncuc.org/pipermail/ncuc-ec/2016-April/002617.html) did theirs.I am putting mine:- Africa: APC- Latin America: Renata - Europe: Ayden- APAC: Aarti
For Tatiana proposal, we can use NCUC funds to cover partly or fully if agreed. we can do the same for Karel if we support his proposal (CIVICUS is too close to be covered by CROPP). other proposal we may consider is the one from Kathy.
Eranga proposal is outside the purpose of CROPP and I don't think we can support it by providing some funds (except moral support). same for Soumya proposal but this is one sounds promising idea and we should appreciate her idea to work on bringing more volunteers and doing long-term outreach.
we will work closely with the recipients about their plan on those event to do outreach for NCUC.
Best,
Rafik

Hi everyone,
please find attached the proposals we got for the CROPP call. we got 4 slots to allocate. I will also double check if I am not missing any request.
we have to make decision quickly because some of the events proposed are quite close. I will check anyway about the deadline and the feasibility.
for some proposals, we may use NCUC funding if advised and if the cost is not prohibitive and if we think that is worthy event to do outreach.
please review carefully the proposals and send your selection lists. several members are applying for the same conference so we may select only 1 individual for that. one request is beyond CROPP remit but is listed for tracking purpose. we want to go to some specific regions but not necessarily a hardcoded requirement.
I would like to receive your selection by this friday then we can decide the top 4 and make decision.
after we will do some evaluation of this experiment and see how we can improve it.
Best,
Rafik
