not doing it now is not skipping it this time per se. With a first past
the post voting system, no percentage turnout requirement, and no
inter-constituency contention, it’s never been deemed necessary. If a
future EC wants to do the work of implementing it anyway they certainly can.

We did check-in before, last year included. I do remember receiving
notification to check-in with the link in the email and update info. That
was prepared by Tapani last year .

Well announcement and schedule should have been discussed much more earlier.

the incoming group as noted. Our late elections were a problem with the

asking for travelers’ names in November. And we’re talking about one week
here.

Dublin and get their lives reorganized before launching the process, which
would suggest a similar schedule. But on the one hand, I’d love to move it
forward a week because I’m now split with NomCom work and it’d be otherwise
useful to get the new team in place more quickly so they can tackle
appointments and begin preparing for the NCPH meeting earlier etc. Note
also that no matter what we do, some of the cycle will happen at the same
time as the IGF week. Can’t be helped, hopefully people will have a scrap
of bandwidth for NCUC regardless.
