If we are seriously going to get bylaws done, you need to be there in
person. You are the lawyer among us, and while I hope we can get them
to some kind of shape with online collaboration before that, but there
will inevitably remain issues that are much easier to handle face to face.

Otherwise, Chair's case is not in question, I am willing to come and
work hard to get things done, but I don't see myself as indispensable,
and I might be able to find alternative sources of funding (probably
only partial though and it would take some wrangling, but I'll have
a go at it if need be).

Agreed. Zuan and Wilson, any ideas how much you'd like and could
work on this?
