Dear Benjamin,
I would like to propose the following questions for the upcoming meeting with ICANN’s Interim CEO:
What steps is ICANN taking to ensure that its websites, platforms, and materials, including ICANN Learn, are fully accessible to persons with disabilities? From personal experience, certain courses on ICANN Learn are not fully accessible for screen reader users. So, what mechanisms (if any) are in place to ensure continuous monitoring and improvement of accessibility across ICANN’s digital platforms? Does ICANN regularly conduct web accessibility audits of its platforms to ensure compliance with recognized standards such as WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)? And, how does (if at all) ICANN engage with the community, including persons with disabilities, to identify and address accessibility issues?
Best,
Dr. Muhammad Shabbir.
