[NCUC-DISCUSS] Leadership roles in NCUC and NCSG

Oh, after reading Stephanie's and Emmanuel's message, there is one thing
I'd like to make clear about what I originally said - even though I come
from deep within the Youth movement, my message wasn't exactly advocating
for more space for the youth - quite the contrary, my main "battle" in
these space is/was arguing for the necessity of more commitment of young
people so visibility or leadership positions are well justified.
To be more precise, and adding to the following discussion, rotation in a
context where heavy (and really important!) work needs to be developed
(which is the case here in ICANN), it is good when we have identified
people who are compromised enough and eager to learn what is needed to
perform their duties.
What would be the responsibility of people with more experience is to
provide the means of identifying and training those people who are really
willing to dedicate themselves - so a big shout out to those who do that
(personally, for me, that would be Kathy as well), especially Stephanie and
Tomslin within our exchange here.
*PS: Doing a mea culpa here, I'm one of the people who needs to ask
Stephanie about the RDRS and Whois discussion - I asked for it in an NCSG
policy call and did not continue it afterward. Sorry, Stephanie, I'll get
some reading up-to-date and reach out for questions soon enough*
Cordially,
*Pedro de Perdigão Lana*
