[NCUC-DISCUSS] CORRECTION - ICANN63 Travel Slots announcement

Dear all,
The situation is worrying and I believe merits a full report, that is a
write-up of how things happened, so we can make sure this does not happen
again. Just the list of exchanges on the list will not, in my view, be
enough. This is a major misstep and however justified does not inspire
confidence.
Also I would like clarification on the 'personal reasons' referred to in
relation to Benjamin's travel. If this was due to visa issues I think we
should clearly make exceptions for such situations as they are beyond the
control of the individual. Also if someone is not eligible to apply for a
travel slot they should be told so immediately upon submission of their
application.
I wish those selected success in their representation of our interests.
best regards
Dorothy
