[NCUC-DISCUSS] submission of IGF Workshops

I would like to submit a proposal for a workshop on accreditation
standards for third party access to data (under data protection law, not
just the GDPR).  As members of this list are probably aware by now, the
University of Toronto has received funding from the Office of the
Privacy Commissioner of Canada to explore standardization potential for
accreditation of those third parties (focusing on ICANN and the
Cybercrime investigators as an initial focus, but of course to serve all
third party requestors/investigators).  I have a number of the requisite
parties for a panel already interested.  Now, I think we as a
stakeholder group should not be in competition with one another.  How
shall I proceed with this?  I understand there may be an accreditation
proposal already in discussion, and apologize for being so preoccupied
with GDPR matters not to have focused on this...was it NCUC or NCSG who
proposed it, and is whoever initiated it interested in discussing
convergence?

Cheers Stephanie Perrin
