Surprise as well!! I don't think ICANN is different from other organization and as such the International Labour laws and internal country labour laws will apply to guide its operations. Despite the fact that ICANN operates a different module (multistakeholder and thus promote gender balance). I don't think the labour laws will permit the disclosure of how much a male or female earn in ICANN.
I will be very glad to no ICANN internal HR regulations.
