Hi Ayden, Was just looking into the list of the countries on Adobeconnect dial out request and they have Sudan mentioned out there. 

May be, Hiba can give it a try and share the experience. The Middle East DNS Forum is currently taking place and remote participation facility via adobconnect is available @ http://tunis2016.mednsf.org/en/remote-participation/
A number of folks from NCUC are already around in this forum.

Hi Zakir,
I am not sure that is the case. I am aware of other forums which do not dial out to embargoed countries and I am not certain that the Adobe Connect team would facilitate this. However, I would like to know if ICANN staff are able to make phone calls to Sudan. This is an issue worth investigating.

I am curious as to whether ICANN staff can dial you into the audio bridge or not, so there is no financial outlay required on your part to participate in phone calls. I don't know the answer here, but you do flag an interesting situation. Being headquartered in the United States ICANN and its suppliers have an obligation to comply with US trade embargoes, but it sounds like this is inadvertently limiting participation.

Is this because Adobe can not export products to Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, and other countries where the United States embargoes goods?  I come from Sudan and you all know about the US sanctions issue which is political thing and may be nothing can be done about it in this context. But i think the least that can be done is to insure that users who have equal right to access and participate in ICANN events as part of the brodaer community.    
      Curently “Adobe connect” can't be accessed in Sudan and this means eliminating a whole community from having their voice heard. Given that, talks about access seems very theoretical. I don't think it is hard for an organization works in the heart of the Internet to find/ put alternatives tools that work for everyone.Sorry if this is not the right place to raise these concerns but i am just speaking for Internet users in Sudan.BRHiba
