Hi

Thanks Marilia. Actually I’d like to turn the question around ask you and the other Councilors the same thing, as I don’t know what the conversation there has been in any detail. It’s not immediately evident to me that Westlake recs by themselves necessarily have all that much bearing on this effort; indeed the lack of attention to structural issues was a concern discussed at the NCPH meeting in DC. Whether the larger process about a possible Membership structure could affect anything is another question I can’t answer…this is why I was suggesting to take this slow, but there were people who said it needed to be done pronto, so here we are.

Bill

How much the discussions in the GNSO review process may impact how the SG operates and, in turn, how NCUC operates? Is there anything coming down that pipe we should defensively prepare for and use the bylaws discussion to do it? Bill's initial position to wait seemed reasonable to me, so I just would like to understand how we can use this bylaws discussion to strengthen NCUC in the midst of this review, instead of giving the feeling of a "building under construction". I think we can, or people would not be suggesting it now... Maybe this is a good piece to share with "younger" folks.
