It is good to get some viewpoint from you. 

.xxx is a top level domain proposal specifically for "adult" or pornographic content. 

Most of us support creating it because we don't want ICANN to decide what content should be visible on the Internet; we prefer to have users and/or local governments do that. That is what N. Adams meant by "openness and freedom" 

The .xxx issue is mostly decided now. ICANN's Board has decided that it did meet the criteria for creating a sponsored TLD; the Independent Review Process has decided that the 2007 reversal of that decision was wrong; the ICANN Board has decided to move ahead now. Only the GAC seems to have any objection. 

Let me ask you about this:
