Dear all,
I would like to hear your views on the following initiative by Stephane Van Gelder, Chair of the GNSO. Stephane has suggested the creation of a mailing list where the chairs of Constituencies and Stakeholder groups would be able to interact. This mailing list is meant to be informal and would simply serve as a discussion point between the chairs of the various constituencies and/or stakeholder groups and the council.
I would like to clarify, however, in order to avoid any misunderstanding: the list that Stephane is suggesting is NOT meant to be about policy discussions and is NOT meant to replace the role of the Council. It is a way to build channels of communication between the chairs and the council - just that.
I personally support the idea on the basis that this list is archived and publicly accessible so interested parties are able to see/follow the discussions. I think it is a great idea for the different groups to interact with each other.
Many thanks
KK
