i think the question to ask, rather, is what is the basis for neulevel
hiring lynn blokzijl on the basis of her experience selling used books?

at <http://cyber.law.harvard.edu/icann/stockholm/archive/physpart.html>
she is listed as a representative of 'de kloof.' i didn't recognize the
name until i saw its august facade at <http://www.dekloof.com/>. please
don't get me wrong: i like the place a lot. i used to go there quite a
bit when i worked just a block away -- but it's definitely not the kind
of place that i myself would go if i was searching for an expert on DNS.
and they would seem to agree. their title search turns up the following:

     DNS - 0 hits
     policy - 0 hits
internet - they do a bit better, notably:

                              KASPERSEN, H.W.K. (E.A.)
                              Contracten van internet-providers: een

                              MANNING, B.

                                   Cambr.,1964.

as many of us know, amsterdam has a very vibrant technical community,
so the questions, really, are (a) what are her duties, (b) what were
her qualifications, and (c) who were the other job candidates?

cheers,
