False? You are rendering a legal opinion?
Folks should note that the contradiction in the term "sponsored
unrestricted domain" was raised in this group a number of times, and was
ignored. We should not act like the concern is new or strange. It is, in
fact, a contradictory construct.

Why should it be "marketed" at all" What is the community benefit in our
putting this effort in and incurrent the cost that will result, from having
to pay for the marketing?
If we are seriously interested in serving the needs of non-profits, we
should pursue a structure that permits minimal cost. Marketing is very
expensive.

Given that dot-Org has existed for nearly 15 years, it is almost certainly
not constructive to try to change its basic role. It has had open
registration for a very long time. Changing that policy now, to create and
enforce rules about the way it is marketed -- even by the registrars --
will primarily serve only to raise the price of the domain name.
Seeks decisions that reduce cost. Regulated increased cost, not reduces it.
