[NCUC-EC] Request for Release of Funding for Approved NCUC Community Event at ICANN 86

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to formally inform you of an approved NCUC community event and
to kindly request your assistance with the release of funding.

The NCUC Social Evening is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 11 June
2026, in Seville. The event is intended as both an outreach and in-reach
initiative, bringing together members of the NCUC, NCSG, and NPOC
communities, as well as local civil society representatives and Internet
governance stakeholders. The purpose of this event is to strengthen
engagement within the Non-Commercial Stakeholder Group, foster greater
collaboration among community members, and enhance outreach and
relationship-building with civil society and Internet governance
stakeholders.

I am pleased to confirm that the event has received the approval of the
NCUC Executive Committee (EC), and authorisation has been granted for the
use of allocated NCUC funds to support its implementation. *The resolution
is attached for your review.*

The approved budget for the event is up to *EUR 1,140* (approximately *USD
1,322*).

In line with the existing financial arrangements, I would be most grateful
for your assistance in facilitating the release of funds to Kathryn
Kleiman’s non-profit organisation, *Domain Name Rights Coalition**
(501(c)(3))*, which will be responsible for managing and covering the
event-related expenses in Seville.
