Dear all,
After reviewing all submissions from EC members regarding Milli’s absence
from meetings, and in line with Section VII.D of the NCUC Bylaws, together
with the unanimous understanding of the EC members not directly concerned
by this matter, I hereby confirm that Mili Semlani is considered to have
automatically resigned from her position as EC Representative for Asia, due
to consecutive absences exceeding the allowable limit.

While we deeply regret that health challenges have prevented her continued
participation, the bylaws make this outcome unavoidable, as the rule does
not provide for an EC vote in such circumstances. This formally concludes
the rights and obligations associated with the office, including
representation at ICANN meetings.

After carefully reviewing the submissions of all EC members, I am left with
no option but to declare Mili’s EC seat vacant. I would like to sincerely
thank Mili for her contributions and extend my best wishes for her full
recovery. I wish to also state that her travel slot for the ICANN 84 has
been cancelled, and at the appropriate time, we shall announce this vacancy
to enable another NCUC member to take up this travel slot.

I shall therefore take the necessary steps to formally communicate this
decision to the entire NCUC membership.

I thank you all.
