Hi Wisdom
Thank you for checking in. I have been meaning to write in and explain my
absence at the monthly meetings. Firstly, I apologise for the absence and I
have been going through some health issues for the past few months. There
were some signs in April but I was not sure what the situation medically
was until it was proven so I hesitated to speak openly about it. I just
recently had a medical procedure to address the condition early this month
and I am slowly recuperating back to a normal pace of life.
I understand the requirement as per the bylaws and I thank the EC for
considering and checking in. Since the procedure is now complete declaring
me fit enough to resume normal activity and exposure to screens, etc. I
will be able to resume my EC duties for the rest of my tenure and I promise
to fulfill all and any obligations necessary from my end until then as the
EC rep.
Kindly also pass my apologies to the rest of the EC and I hope you all will
understand my predicament and consider my request to complete my EC term.

With gratitude
