The Board is asking Mason and me to meet with and present to the
Board in their workshop session on Friday before ICANN81 proper.
I will have to represent all of NCSG, NCUC and NPOC (mason has
an even harder job representing BC, ISPC and IPC), so I will need
your help and input. Do you have basic presentations about your
constituencies that we can use as a starting point?
An important part (and opportunity) is to present our most
pressing current concerns.

Hi Mason,
Thank you for your questions.
1. The Board is welcoming the two of you in their workshop room which
is limited in space and not made to be public. This is not a
duplication of the bilateral meetings. This format is the same as
other groups have had and will have.
2. If there is a question that cannot be answered by those in
attendance, please hold this question for the bilateral meeting or
send a formal email to the Board when ready.
Just a couple of other reminders. The session will be 90 minutes long.
The suggested format would include a presentation by each chair focusing
on the group’s role in ICANN’s ecosystem and how it fulfills this role.
The presentation should allow time for a question-and-answer period to
encourage interaction between the Board and the presenters.
Thank you!
Kind Regards,
Andrea

Andrea –
Thanks for the notification. Two questions, however:
1. Why the restricted access?
2. What if a question or subject comes up in our board interactions
that would be best addressed by someone else in CSG or NCSG leadership?
Is there any clarification available?
Thanks –
Mason

Hello Gentlemen!
I am receiving more information about the meeting with the Board and
wanted to pass it along. Only the two of you will be able to join the
Board workshop room. Others will be able to join through a listen only Zoom.
Thanks!
