[NCUC-EC] Concerns Regarding NCUC Decision-Making and Session Legitimacy

Dear EC Members,
As follow to my previous email regarding Benjamin's recent response, which
came through another email rather than directly replying here. His response
left our questions unanswered and didn’t address the key points I raised.
The reply was as far as needed.
I have some critical points that need clarification:
1- Communication Transparency: If we had not inquired, would the EC have
been informed at all?
2- Has Benjamin considered or discussed our suggestion to collaborate with
NCSG, NPO, or other relevant groups for this outreach initiative?
3- Event Scheduling: In a previous email, we asked Andrea about the
availability of a meeting room and proposed holding our session immediately
after the opening ceremony to encourage attendees from Turkey to stay and
participate. Why was the session then scheduled for the afternoon? What
criteria led to this timing? have we been asked or discussed ? !!
4- As I mentioned earlier, this issue has been frustrating (at least for
me). On October 7, an agenda was circulated by Benjamin to a limited group,
detailing various speakers and topics that differ significantly from the
version we received today. Neither I nor other EC members ( Except Iness)
were kept in the loop despite our involvement in the preparations. At that
time, I waited a full ten days, expecting an update from Benjamin before
raising the issue with the EC.
5 - and more
As well, I am presenting this as a matter and highlighting the need for
clear communication and collaboration moving forward. Also, your insights
on the question I posed at the end of my previous email would be greatly
appreciated.
Thank you,
Amin
