[NCUC-EC] [Ext] RE: NCUC Election Timeline

Hi Ken,

Traditionally the NCSG/NCUC/NPOC elections have all been held at the same time. The NCSG election does impact travel for ICANN78, hence the reason we are starting at this time. This timeline can be postponed a bit, if agreed upon by NCSG/NCUC/NPOC. I have this timeline with some built in time, in case anyone would like to postpone. Yes, this would need to be updated with candidate statements going to the appropriate discuss list.

Maybe at this point it would be best for all of the ECs to discuss a possible change in the timeline? Selfishly, it is much easier for all of the elections to take place at the same time, but of course, I will do whatever the EC agrees to.

HI Andrea. Thanks for the reminder and my apologies, as I thought we were being told about the timeline.

It looks fine to me, except that it just seems a bit early, inasmuch as the annual meeting doesn’t happen until late in October and the outcome doesn’t impact travel for ICANN78.

Also, can you confirm that the candidate statements to be posted on NCSG mailing list, and not NCUC?
