But the thing is, this will cause considerable disruption to our process.
At the end of the day, it might actually be best for us to proceed with the
timeline the way it is. We can have a more thorough discussion on the NCUC
EC NA seat in the coming months and decide how to proceed. Expect the NCUC
EC to have a discussion on this on a Sunday is not the right way to proceed
- so I withdraw my previous remarks about considering the extension. I just
saw the note on 17h being the proposed extension - it is virtually
impossible and unfair to expect that a candidate that did not step up in
the last period would immediately step up now.

Let's continue with the NCUC EC NA with no candidate and have more time for
a thorough discussion on this.
