Hi Bruna,

I also thought the email on postponing the elections was quite odd, since
we have never discussed this and, as you rightfully pointed out, this not
only steps over the pre-established timeline (to all constituencies) it
also fails to consider the proper processes for these types of decisions to
take place.

I understand the concern with not having enough candidates for the position
and that a few days could help. However, not only was this communicated
without any prior conversation and no knowledge of the NCUC EC and chair
whatsoever, but also communicated after the meet the candidates call -
which makes no sense to me.

With that said, I think the extension would help us in buying more time to
see if we have a candidate for EC NA but we do need to make it clear that
this is not due to what Raul mentioned the NCSG EC decided to do. We can
accept the suggestion, but not a direct running over the procedures.

As an alternative to "meet the candidates", we can ask additional
candidates to answer two-three questions, or highlight that any further
questions to the candidate statement are more than welcome.

What do you all think?

Best,

*Louise Marie Hurel*
