Dear Michael
The EC has deliberated on your travel funding request and allocated the
amount requested (500USD) by a majority of votes.
This deliberation was guided by our Travel Policy and our Operating
Procedures.
https://www.ncuc.org/get-involved/travel-policy/
https://www.ncuc.org/ncuc-operating-procedures/
The final decision was made considering on your engagement with working
groups and policy work in ICANN, which was highlighted by the evaluators.
Your collaboration with NCUC programme at ICANN61 is also welcome. Please
help obtain and confirm guests and audience to be in attendance, guide
newcomers to our sessions, outreach on social media with #NCUC and any
other tasks concerning our programme. On our work meetings, we hope you can
be present on them and bring ideas to fulfill the tasks the EC has at
hands. Please remember also that as all funded travelers, you should
produce a report to be published as a blog post per our travel policy.
I'm sending this communication asap so you can book accomodation at the
best price.
I trust any EC can add ideas about ICANN61 if they think it is necessary.
Thank you,
Renata
