Hi Bruna,

Cc’ing CROP staff mail list for tracking purposes.

Thank you for reaching out to me on this. Please find my responses below:

   1. No. NCUC will not lose any of its 3 CROP trip slots if they do not
use it for ICANN63. NCUC will be able to use these 3 slots for other ICANN
   meetings or ICANN sponsored meetings.
   2. Yes. However; you need to have first used a slot for an ICANN
meeting. Then you can use one or both of the remaining slots for
non-ICANN-organized meetings (e.g. IGF) if the meeting is assessed by the
   relevant GSE VP as being;

i) Directly and demonstrably related to ongoing ICANN
policy, advisory or technical activities (e.g. a Regional Internet Registry
meeting), and

ii) Consistent with ICANN Org’s outreach plan for that
region.

I hope this answers your questions.

Kind regards,

Ozan Sahin

Hey Ozan,

Hope this email finds you well, I had some doubts about the NCUC CROP slots
and was wondering if you could clear that up.

1. I already know that, but in case NCUC does not use the CROP for this
upcoming ICANN meeting, does that imply on us losing the slot ? or we could
use it for another ICANN meeting or sponsored meeting?
2. Can these slots be used for the IGF ? ICANN used to sponsor the meeting
and that would fall under the 'sponsored meeting' category, but I heard
there has been some changes to that.

thank you very much!
