Dear Community Leaders:



With all the work underway on various aspects of the General Data
Protection Regulation (GDPR) that affect the domain name system, Göran
and ICANN organization’s senior executive team thought it may be
helpful to have monthly informal information updates where we can
discuss the range of GDPR-related activities and their status. This
update will not replace official channels of communication, but we
thought it can provide an additional opportunity for updates and for
SO/AC leadership  or your designated representative) to flag any
issues/concerns.



We hope to hold the first such update on Monday 13 August 2018, at
1500 UTC. Thereafter, and assuming you agree that a monthly discussion
will be helpful, we can arrange for subsequent calls to be held once
per month (e.g. on the first Thursday) at two rotating times to
accommodate the different time zones that each of you are in. We can
discuss the timing further on the 13 August call.



Please look out for a calendar invitation with call details shortly.
