Sadly Karel had to leave us because he is representing Trinidad and Tobago
on GAC now.

I wished him luck and told him he can come back whenever he is done
representing on GAC.

Dear Farzaneh,

On or about the 25 June 2017 I was appointed as a representative for
Trinidad and Tobago to the Government Advisory Committee ( GAC) . I will
thus be attending future ICANN meetings as a member of the GAC.

In the interest of transparency and to avoid any conflict of interest I
hereby submit my resignation as a member of the NCUC.

Let me take this opportunity to thank you, the EC and the general
membership for the opportunity to be apart of and contribute to this great
community.

If and where possible I will continue to follow the lively discussions and
issues raised within the community. Needless to say I will sadly miss these
interactions.

Lastly, I hope that at the end of my service to the GAC that I will be
allowed to resume being a member of the NCUC should I seek to rejoin. Thank
you.
