[NCUC-EC] NCUC ExCom Minutes 26 July 2016 - Please review

Dear all,

Please find below minutes of today's ExCom call for your kind review.

Action Items

1- NCUC bylaws process/timeline:

  *   EC should target to get the work done internally with a view of completing before Hyderabad
  *   EC to complete/finalize charter changes and ask for comments from NCUC members by 15 August 2016
  *   EC to double check charter change procedure and process in the next few days and agree on it before proceeding
  *   Official announcement by end of week for timeline of charter change
  *   Rob to send memo of GNSO charter change steps/process from the OEC side

2- Report from Helsinki meeting

  *   Maryam to send the Hyderabad meeting minutes with ICANN teams to EC
  *   EC to follow up with members on how to proceed with Document Development Drafting Pilot Program by 02 Aug 2016

3- CROPP FY17 planning:

  *   EC have decided to go with option 3 - 1 outreach event and 2 supported travellers
  *   EC to work on details of outreach strategy


4- Preparation for Hyderabad

  *           Travel slots allocation:
     *   Farzaneh to confirm by tomorrow to the EC if she gets ICANN funded travel support from the Fellowship programme
  *           NCUC sessions planning:
     *   EC to wait for Hyderabad Schedule
     *   EC to consult NCUC members about agenda for the NCUC Hyderabad meeting
  *   Outreach:
     *   EC to consult with local NCUC members to help with planning and outreaching
  *           NCUC travel policy: EC to make announce to members to apply for travel support to Hyderabad by 04 August 2016

5- AOB:

  *           Election planning:
     *   NCUC ExCom elections to be done before AGM
     *   Rafik to send proposal for timeline of election
  *           Appointments:
     *   For Nom Com, EC to send announcements to mailing list for candidates before Aug 5 (Rafik to draft announcement and get approval for EC before sending out to list)
  *           IGF planning: NCUC workshop status and Civil society day:
     *   EC agreed to support the Civil Society Day at IGF with $1000
     *   2 NCUC workshops were approved
     *   EC to Inform NCUC members about the workshops and activities at IGF
