[NCUC-EC] Financial year request

Dear EC,


The financial year request deadline is fast approaching, deadline is 15
Feb. we have to come up with proposals and also ask the community if they
can put forward proposals too and comment on ours.


We have to be quicker and be ready when Rafik is back so I suggest we come
up with Financial Request proposals, one or two  each and also ask NCUC
members to come up with with their own proposals and give us feedback.We
have to come up with plans until the end of the week and also ask the NCUC
members for community input next week.

As Rafik said in his email, the previous FY requests were mostly requests
for funding to go to IGF. We could be more creative ofcourse.

In coming up with the proposals note that "The FY17 Special Community
Request process has started.  This process pertains to a dedicated part of
the overall ICANN annual budget that is set aside to fund specific requests
from the community for activities that are not already included in the
recurring ICANN budget. FY17 Special Community Requests cover the period *1
July 2016 through 30 June 2017.*

Please send your suggestions by the end of the week.
