Looks good! There are a few typos here and there, mostly minor, like two spaces where there should be one

Hi
I made the changes as you suggested. I think now it makes more sense and I also got rid of the description of domain name system. I primarily intended to mention domain name system because I have seen many fellows think that ICANN gets involved with the
governance of the Internet as a whole, for example providing infrastructure etc. I just wanted to clarify that it is limited. But I think with your explanation it is better now.
I also made a change under the join us here "protecting noncommercial communications, activities and interests on the Internet." As our activities are within ICANN mission I added within ICANN so
that people don't think we are doing this outside of ICANN for the whole Internet.
I also added this paragraph "By joining us you can have a real effect on making ICANN a more transparent and accountable corporation.
Together we can represent the non-commercial users interests more strongly."
Let me know what you think
I also updated the numbers.
I edited added "help" based on Bill's comment.
Comments are appreciated.

This is technically incorrect. A second-level name is a second-level name. This is referring to a full
domain name (SLD.TLD). Moreover, I question the value of trying to explain the DNS in a brochure. If someone really doesn’t understand what a domain name is no brochure is going to fix it and they are unlikely to be getting involved in ICANN.

This description is part of ICANN’s continuing pretense that it only does technical stuff. It should
read:
“ICANN develops policies related to how many top level domains there will be, which ones will exist,
to whom they will be assigned, and the regulations that apply to the entities that run them. Its policies are developed through a multistakeholder process.”
>ICANN currently performs its mission under a U.S. Government contract

This could be changing very soon. Do we want to put this obsolete info into a printed brochure?
> ICANN is currently engaged in a process of internationalization, with

This is junk, staff propaganda. We might say that “ICANN is currently engaged in a process of globalization, ending unilateral U.S. government
oversight. ICANN has offices and engagement centers in different parts of the world.”
> Information on ICANN’s organization, governance, procedures, and
> range of activities is all available at
On the brochure there is no URL following this, only an ICANN logo. At any rate, we should point people to our own web site not ICANN’s, for further
information.

Hi all
I have made changes to the ICANN part of the flyer. I think the flyer is for newcomers and it should be more simple. please let me know if you agree with this approach and feel
free to make suggestion. we also need a more recent picture.
