yes but because the short time (that is my fault and I apologize for it)
and having the meeting in Africa (symbols matter), there was some consensus
to give preference to those from Africa and ME. indeed we need to encourage
those who are active and already doing some work, that is why I am also
proposing to work closely with the recipients in Marrakech. not a
mentorship per se but more to ensure some follow-up and "seriousness" of
the recipients there. after marrakech meeting, we will do some evaluation
and tweak the selection process and criteria.
