[NCUC-EC] Applications for travel support until now

I am familiar with Hago. He is willing to be active and as someone from Sudan I would like to see him supported for the African meeting if we can afford it. I think you can send him a message similar to the one you sent to AbdulRasheed, if you haven’t already.

I also support Renata’s and Tatiana’s applications. However, I have a question for Renata. If she was, as she says, supported to go to Spain by the other conference, why is she asking us to support her flight back to Brazil? A round trip from Spain to Morocco would be inexpensive, but when you add a one-way to Brazil I think it could get very expensive. Renata seems like a good person to encourage with support, but I think we should enquire whether she already has a flight back to Brazil from Spain.

Subject: [NCUC-EC] Applications for travel support until now

Hi All,

Please find attached the applications for travel support. I have yet to receive Abdulrasheed's formal application for travel support. I support Renata's and Tatiana's applications. Tatiana has proven record of engagement with NCUC. Renata is also looking for a chance to become more active and I think this will provide her with one. Renata's costs will be around 1500 USD and Tatiana has stated the approximate costs might be less than 1000 USD.

As to Hago's application, I am not personally familiar with his work within NCUC but I think he ran for EC this year.

If we agree on the two candidates above I believe we some budget for supporting others or we can allocate some partial funding to Hago if he justifies his request in more details.

Best

Farzaneh
