This is exactly what happened. You were reimbursed based on the amount of Euros you spent (Euros -> US$ -> Naira). We converted the Euro/dollar amount to Naira in transit because we thought that made it easier for you.

You shall be reimbursed based on the amount of euros you spent not on the amount of naira so the devaluation should not affect you
