I will assume we each prefer to save $15 on breakfast (it’s not included in the reservation). I paid an extra $20 for an upgrade and got sort of small junior suite that couch chairs table wifi kitchen coffee machine. We could just meet in my room quickly to conduct business and chat a little, and then walk across the street to the ICANN-proved breakfast at CSIS. Sound good? I am in room 823. Come by anytime after 7:45am and we’ll have a coffee and chat and then head over.

Hi
Hmm…so it seems Grace, Joao and Stefi are getting in at varying times, and we’ve not heard from Peter. This makes me hesitant to count on Sunday night working. We could end up with a few jet lagged people sitting in the hotel lounge without quorum to do anything. I’ve alas seen it happen before.
Why don’t we revert to Plan A and meet for breakfast Monday 8am in the hotel? We have to eat anyway and don’t have a lot of formal stuff to do so we won’t need more than a half hour to “conduct business” before heading across the street. The meeting starts 9am. We will be together for two days and will find plenty of chances to talk about other stuff.
Basically the agenda would be
1. Appointments:
2 NCUC Reps. to the NCSG Executive Committee
Tapani wants to do it and Milton said good idea so I assume he’s ready to step off. I assume Robin wishes to remain.

1 NCUC Rep. to the Public Interest Registry
Since this involves no real work but I do have to deal with PIR for their annual financial contribution, I would suggest we just send them my name. Unless someone else has an itch, nobody’s expressed interest.

2 NCUC Reps. to the GNSO’s Standing Committee on Improvements
Nobody has expressed interest so I’ve written to Amr and David asking them to remain, at least for now.

Treasurer
Nobody has expressed interest so Milton shall remain.

Membership Affairs TeamWalid has offered to serve as facilitator.
2. Budget
Discuss ICANN and NCUC budget requests
3. Annual Plan
Discuss quarterly work priorities, internal work procedures, try to get some commitments to do stuff.
4. AOB

Nothing complicated.
See you then,
Bill
