Hi

The Center for Democracy and Technology in Washington DC is applying to join NCUC, as is Mertek Media Monitor, a watchdog and think tank organization in Hungary (www.mertek.eu/en). Together with the other recent additions, we’re really starting to get some good new blood into the system. It would be helpful if we could think about how the EC could step up and carve out a role going forward in facilitating members’ engagement, as per the thread on ncuc-discuss. I tried last year to stimulate work along these lines last year and would like to give it another go in the new year. While GNSO policy is done at the SG level, in the first instance via the NCSG PC, there’s much else that we could be doing at the EC and constituency levels that’s important and interesting.

Let’s mull what the new EC can do from January…

Cheers

Bill

PS: The NCSG policy call yesterday was productive, had like 20 people. It’d be worth considering joining these when able….
