Thanks, I am aware of this. Brian hasn’t met with us as PIR because he was busy and said anyway we see you for ATRT. He is however in the process of giving us $15,000.

Because it is an event geared toward At Large and ATLAS, which is not us.

Carlos is our liaison now to PIR and may be able to provide you with more info on the status of relationship maintenance.

Given that it’s intuitively obvious and has never given rise to controversy it may be sufficient to leave it to each EC to work out, rather than presuming to fix a policy. But if we want to do that I have a couple paras of email that could be repurposed to a EC only workspace.

Very few independent and community producers know much about the structure of ICANN or internet governance. I have spoken about these issues at several international fora, including IAMCR (International Association of Media and Communications Researchers), UDC (The Union for Democratic Communications), The Alliance for Community Media and Our Media. I have urged others from these organizations to get involved.( I am pleased that at my urging, one of my colleagues, Stefania Milan, is now a very active member of our community!)

Having worked on the WSIS policy statements and other declarations regarding the rights of community producers, I feel I can contribute effectively in defining the interests of my various community affiliations. Of course I'm happy to help in numerous ways, so just let me know what NCUC needs in London.
