Sorry MM I didn't mean to suggest you'd not been appointed before, as I had no knowledge of that.  I meant only we'd not appointed you, so I was surprised when you said were ST.  Nobody is or is attempting to bypass the EC on appointments, never happened, full stop.  Cheers.
