Of course Konstantinos should be going, and I support Alex.

Subject: [Ec-ncuc] travel support for the SF meeting

Dear all,

As the ICANN SF meeting is fast-approaching and for some people there are visa implications, I would like to start the process of asking for your approval for supporting some of our members ? mainly those who need to start the process of applying for a visa.

Konstantinos Komaitis or KK- $2631 (flights and accommodation) ? as the new chair I think I should be there. The SF meeting is quite important as ICANN is planning to finalize the new gTLD process and trademark issues are again on the agenda. As you know ICANN is meeting with GAC next month and trademarks are part of their agenda. The work of the STI on this regard is in jeopardy and I believe we need to show a very strong and united front against the trademark community which is pushing for a re-drafting of the STI recommendations. As a member of the STI, I feel that I can contribute to the process and the debate. In any case, there are also some implementation issues on the trademark front and we will need to start discussions as to how or whether we need to monitor them. I am also part of our summit, organizing the trademarks panel.

Alex Gakuru - $3000 (appx flights, accommodation and visa): I would like to suggest that Alex gets to SF. Alex is working on building a consumers constituency within NCSG and he is working alongside Beau and Rosemary. His role in the formation of this constituency is key as is also important the way this new constituency will fall within the non-commercial mandate. Alex?s contribution has been excellent in both the Seoul and Brussels meeting and I am confident that his contribution will also be important in SF.

Milton Mueller - $1000 (appx) ? I don?t think I need to say anything about Milton and his role within NCUC or how important it is for us to have him in SF.

Thank you all very much.

Best

KK

Subject: [Ec-ncuc] Fwd: [GANDI] 1 domain(s) expiring in 2 months

Hi all,

We need to renew one of our domain names, NCUC.ORG<http://NCUC.ORG>. Cost to renew is $15/year. Assuming the NCSG Charter is approved this year, I suppose we only need to renew it for one year, although we may want to continue to renew it given its historical use (and that it is likely worth good bit of money). Does the EC support NCUC covering this expense?

Thanks,

Dear customer,

You have received this email because you are a contact of the domains listed below.

These domains will expire in 2 months.

Payment for renewal must be received before the expiry date. If payment is not received before the expiry date, your domains will be deleted and will be made available again for anyone to register on a first-come first-served basis, depending on the deletion process of the domain's TLD.

For more information, please consult our "Illustrated Guide at the following URLs:
http://www.gandi.net/faq/default/
http://www.gandi.net/faq/view_question/en/1.5/what_are_the_deletion_delays

To renew, please log into gandi.net<http://gandi.net> - http://www.gandi.net and choose "renew". You may also go directly there:

https://www.gandi.net/renew?l=EN&c=Pr7GDiBmAiiOQT9ADG9e2A&d=2011-02-17&i=BK836
(if the above link does not work because it does not appear on one line in your email, please copy and paste the full URL in your browser)

The form will be filled in with the domains listed below. However, you can choose to add or delete domains from the list when performing the renew.

You may pay by credit card (for an immediate renewal) or by cheque if you have a French bank account (renewal is effective upon receipt and validation of your cheque by Gandi).

Renewal prices are stipulated on the renewal interface and on the Gandi Price List:
http://www.gandi.net/domain/price/info

Renewal is NOT automatic: it is done ONLY upon receipt of payment after your order has been placed via the renewal interface.

If you do not wish to renew a domain name, simply ignore our renew reminders.

If you want to renew, please do so before the expiration date, in order to avoid the deletion of your domain name or the necessity of a restoration (see our restoration rates at http://www.gandi.net/domain/price)
