Hi ,

Thanks Farzaneh for raising those questions/comments.
If I may add one is I am observing if I am not mistaking that geographical
diversity didn't improve as Africa went from having 3 voting board members
including a woman to only 1 voting board member appointed by ASO (so none
appointed by nomcom), which is the bare minimal according to ICANN bylaws.
My understanding that even the non voting liaison to board from GAC is also
term limited this year . Such unbalance is not good in term of diversity or
optics to outside for a global organization.
I am really keen to understand noncom rationale behind that, while I
understand the confidentiality rules that it operates within.

Best,

Rafik
