Dear all,

Thank you for the replies to our previous emails on this next phase of the
NCUC Policy Writing Course. As mentioned before, we decided to dedicate
this new interaction to our members are not english native speakers just so
we could assess their barriers and challenges when trying to work on ICANN
policy issues.

After your replies to our doodle poll, we decided to schedule this *webinar
for Tuesday, May 26th, starting at 13h00 UTC*. The idea for this upcoming
webinar is to promote a frank discussion on the barriers our members might
face when writing a policy statement, how does NCUC contributes to NCSG
policy positions and also the importance of cooperation when drafting some
of these contributions.

In the previous past, we have also seen that this course - both on its
onsite interaction and online course models - has proved to be a key
resource in terms of helping our volunteers and we want also to foster a
higher number of penholders and contributors to public comments (: In case
you are willing to run for any open leadership positions available, this is
also a good opportunity to understand a little further how our policy
positions are built !

*The only pre-requisite *for this upcoming webinar is that all members
willing to attend shall take the *ICANN Learn course named '**701.1 Writing
for Policy and Public Comment
<https://learn.icann.org/#/online-courses/0e01a925-9a66-46bd-9e6e-466e5494abb7>'
*before the webinar as it is supposed to be a continuation of the previous
efforts.

Last but not least,* I would ask you all to RSVP until this friday - may
15th, at 14h00 utc *- to @Maryam Bakoshi <maryam.bakoshi at icann.org> and
myself, confirming your interest in attending this webinar. We need a
number of 15 people to guarantee its data and we are looking forward to
having you there.

*TL;DR ?? *
